Why Are You Fighting for Something You Already Have?
The power of unity—true unity—is not what the world makes it out to be. It’s not just agreement or alignment. It’s gathering. It’s bringing the foundation of Christ together. It’s building the Church, the Kingdom of God. Revival isn’t just a moment or a movement—it’s being together, walking in what God has called us to do.
So again, I ask: Why are you fighting for something you already have?
We don’t need to chase it—we need to tap into it. We need to recognize what’s already been given to us. We’re not trying to take back what was never ours. We’re redeeming what was God’s from the beginning.
I’m not against anyone expressing things in their own way. But I ask you to understand my heart. No matter how you voice it, the truth remains: when you say yes to the fivefold ministry, when you say yes to leadership, you carry a responsibility for souls—a weight that Scripture, especially in Timothy, does not take lightly.
For me, this calling is more than just a function. It’s more than a gift. It’s a gift I accepted, and I said, “I will use this for His glory.” That’s foundational. That’s the Word of God. And I won’t abandon those words just because others misuse them. We’re going to redeem them, because they’re God’s words, not man’s.
These truths don’t belong to those who twist them. They belong to the Holy Spirit, as revealed in Ephesians 4.
Everyone has their own way of saying things, and I respect that. But please hear my heart: we need to be brave enough to do it God’s way. We need to be bold enough to say, “Lord, we want to build what You’ve called us to build.”
We’re called to a relationship with Jesus, to be founded in the Church, the Body of Christ, the Kingdom of God. We’re not called to be spiritual junkies—chasing miracles, hopping from service to service, seeking only personal touch. That’s not the season we’re in.
Yes, enjoy those services. I will too. But that’s not the point. The point is: why are we doing what we’re doing?
This message might stir some hearts. It might even be controversial. If you’re a revivalist, go for it. If you’re an evangelist, run with it. But find a foundation. Be rooted. Be strong in this season.
I’m not against miracle services or healing gatherings. But I see something off-balance. And when things are off-balance, we miss the fullness of the Kingdom. And I want to see the fullness of the Kingdom come—on earth as it is in Heaven.
