Rejection: Your Open Door

Every rejection in life is an opportunity in disguise. Every time someone says no, another door opens. When one path closes, another one appears—leading you to growth, increase, and a new opportunity. But if you stop pushing forward, you'll never see that next door; you'll never discover the place where you're truly meant to be.

We all face moments of pain and uncertainty, and it's important to ask, "God, where is this pain coming from?" Walking this path doesn't mean everything is perfect. For me, it took two years—and I'm still learning and growing. Sometimes people label us or misunderstand our journey, but these challenges are part of the process. We must learn to let go of our past, our imperfections, and continue pressing on.

It’s time to be active in Jesus Christ. It’s time to forge our swords and hone our gifts, putting them into action. As the Bible reminds us in Philippians 3:13, “I do not consider myself to have taken hold of it yet; but one thing I do: forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead.” Forgetting doesn’t mean erasing our memories—it means releasing the pain so that it no longer controls us. We remember to learn and build upon what was, but we let go of the burdens that hold us back.

How many of you have felt like you’re in the wilderness? Like Paul, we all experience seasons of isolation and struggle. There are times when you feel lost in a desert—dry, disconnected, and not sensing the flow of the Holy Spirit. But even in those barren moments, God promises to bring forth a river in the desert. Just when it seems like all hope is lost, He refreshes and rejuvenates us.

No, you don’t have to wither away in the desert. Just as God sets a banquet table even in the midst of our enemies, Jesus Christ—through His saving power and love—always makes a way. The path before us reveals itself only when we choose to accept it. Let go of the old, leave behind the circumstances that no longer serve you, and embrace the new beginning waiting just around the corner.

Even when you're deep in the wilderness and you cry out, "God, I need You right here," remember: He is there. Every rejection, every setback, is not an end but an open door to a brighter future.
