I Am Not Waiting for Revival—I Am Living It
Life everlasting is full of joy. It is full of the Holy Spirit. It is full of everything God promised. But to operate in it—to truly walk in revival and in the move of God—we must return to God’s design.
I see life differently from many people. I am not waiting for revival, because I believe I am revival. I live it. I steward it. And God honors that. Revival is not something I’m waiting for—it is something I’m living.
Because of that, I don’t often use the word revival. Not because I don’t believe in it, but because I believe it has been overused and, in many cases, misrepresented. The perception of revival has often been built incorrectly. I agree with revival, but I do not always agree with how it is explained or portrayed.
I believe revival begins with reviving ourselves. And real revival always includes reformation and transformation.
Transformation Requires Reformation
We must remember that we are not of this world, even though we live in it. Jesus did not come to rebuild the same systems again. He came to establish a new Kingdom. We are here to bring something new into these nations—and I believe that is exactly what God is calling us to do. Transformation is not optional.
Romans 12:2 says: “And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”
Transformation changes you. If the transformation is real, you will not look like who you were before. And here is something I believe deeply:
Without reformation, there is no revival.
The Reformation establishes the foundation. Transformation reveals the fruit.
Be Ready—Power Is Coming Either Way
You are not going to stop the power of God from coming. You’d better be ready for it. And you are not going to stop the enemy’s power from coming either—you’d better be ready for that too.
Some people say, “Stop talking about the devil.” But I’m not talking about the devil—I’m talking about God. And when you talk about God, the enemy doesn’t like it. When you talk about freedom, the enemy says, “No, I want them in bondage.”
You don’t have a choice about whether power shows up. You do have a choice about whether you are built on a foundation that can withstand it.
Foundation Is Built Through Obedience
When you act on the Word, the Word becomes real to you. When you act on revelation, it turns into experience. And when revelation becomes experience, it becomes foundation.
That foundation is reformation. That foundation produces transformation.
We often get caught up in confessions—and confessions are good. But if you don’t act on what you confess, you will lose it. Or worse, you’ll get stirred up without direction and become unstable. Faith that is not acted upon does not reform you.
Reform Yourself
Accept the responsibility to build on a solid foundation. When you are established in that foundation, the storm cannot tear you down.
Reform yourself. Renew your mind. Act on the Word.
That is where transformation lives. That is where true revival begins.
And that is how we walk in the Kingdom Jesus came to establish—right here, right now.
