You Are Called to Carry Influence
The Lord has given you something powerful — influence. Not someday. Not when you feel more ready. Not when everything in life settles down. Now.
The question is, are you willing to carry it? Are you ready to say, “Yes, this may involve me, but all the glory belongs to God”? Are you ready to recognize that the freedom God gave you wasn’t just for your relief — it was for your assignment?
This is a moment — a divine, appointed time. You weren’t set free just to feel better. You were set free to step forward. To move. To influence.
The Promised Land isn’t ahead somewhere in the distance. In many ways, it’s already in front of us. Yet too often, we find ourselves repeating the pattern of the Israelites — circling in the wilderness, waiting for God to do what He already told us to step into.
We sit and ask, “Where are You, God?” “I need another prophecy.” “I need another word.” And without realizing it, we can become spiritual spectators instead of spiritual movers — hoping God will push us forward rather than choosing to walk forward in faith. But the Lord is saying, “Step into the river.” “Enter the flow of My anointing.” It’s a choice.
Influence Is Intentional
Influence doesn’t just happen. It’s carried. You are called to influence your world — your coworkers, your employees or employers, your family, your community. Leadership isn’t always a title. Often, it’s a presence. Have you ever heard someone say, “When they walk into the room, I just feel peace”? Or, “When I see them, I just want to hug them”? That’s influence.
We also have to learn to honor the influence God has placed in others. None of us can walk this journey alone. We need the grace, strength, and perspective carried by the people God has placed around us. Influence flows both ways. We influence — and we are influenced.
Righteousness Shapes True Influence
Real influence isn’t about personality, popularity, or visibility. It’s about righteousness — living aligned with God’s heart. Somewhere along the way, many believers stopped thinking of influence in spiritual terms and started associating it with image or reach. But Kingdom influence is different.
It’s the kind of presence that shifts atmospheres. The kind that makes people more aware of God without you forcing a conversation. The kind that causes hearts to soften and hope to rise. We should feel honored that God would trust us to represent Him. “Lord, I get to reflect You in my workplace. I get to reflect You in everyday errands. I get to reflect You in ordinary conversations.” And as we walk this way, people begin to fear the Lord — not in terror, but in reverence. They begin to recognize that God is real, present, and holy. That reverence draws them closer, not pushes them away. When we live in that holy reverence, we stop walking in chaos and start walking in step with His presence.
Creating an Atmosphere of Breakthrough
There are moments when God invites us to pause — to step out of the noise and into His presence. Imagine walking out of the rush of life and into the tabernacle of God. The pace slows. The distractions are quiet. And the Lord gently says, “Pause.” Pause the racing thoughts. Pause the stress about work. Pause the family worries. Pause the exhaustion.
Not forever — but long enough for Him to touch your heart. In that place, influence deepens. Because before we influence the world, we must first allow God to influence us. Scripture reminds us that when we receive what God offers—even in simple faith—there is a reward. When we come open, hungry, and expectant, heaven meets us.
And today, there is an influence being released:
An influence of healing
An influence of restoration
An influence of freedom
This is the very influence that gave birth to ministries and testimonies. It’s the influence of the Holy Spirit that sets people free, lifts depression, restores purpose, and strengthens the weary. That same influence is still here.
Walking in the Influence of His Glory
We carry something sacred. We carry the influence of His glory. We carry the influence of His promises. We carry the influence of His “Yes” and “Amen.”
But carrying it requires agreement. It requires us to say, “Lord, I will walk in what You’ve placed on my life.” Influence is not about striving to be seen. It’s about surrendering so fully to Him that His presence becomes visible through you. And in this hour, more than ever, God is calling His people to rise — not louder, but deeper. Not more visible, but more aligned.
Because one life fully influenced by God can influence countless others. And that life might just be yours.
