This Mountain Is Not a Demon — It’s Your Trouble
Not every mountain you're facing is a demon. Some mountains… are just troubles. Challenges. Life. And yes, sometimes God will remove the mountain. Sometimes your faith can move mountains. Everybody say “can!” Yes — it shall be done. And the Word says, “Nothing shall be impossible for you.”
But not all mountains are meant to be thrown into the sea. Some mountains are meant to be climbed.
Because some of your mountains — yes, those very things you’re praying away — are actually what God is using to bring you up. To take you higher into His presence. Into His glory. Amen?
You have to discern the difference. Not every mountain is meant to be removed. Some are meant to elevate you. You’ve got to know when to speak to it and cast it out, and when to put on your hiking boots and start climbing.
Some of us are working so hard trying to throw a mountain into the river, thinking it’s just a burden or demonic attack. But if you’d just climb it — just a little higher — you’d realize it’s grace. You’d see that what looked like trouble was actually designed to get under your feet and become a stepping stone to glory.
But here’s the problem — unbelief doesn’t see that.
Unbelief has power. And I don’t mean holy power — I mean it mimics the strength of belief, but in the opposite direction. It's not of God, but it can be just as strong. That’s why we have to break the power of unbelief.
We all wrestle with unbelief to some degree. That’s okay. But it should never be your final resting place. Unbelief should always serve as a bridge to deeper belief, not a wall that blocks it.
There are moments where someone preaches something new and you think, “I’m not sure about that.” That’s not bad — it’s just a processing moment. I’ve had those too. But what matters is that you keep pressing in until that hesitation becomes revelation. And when it does? That unbelief turns into solid faith.
Sometimes, you need a shock moment to wake up to truth. Sometimes, unbelief is just the threshold to a breakthrough. Amen?
The Scripture says, “Nothing shall be impossible.” And that means you now have the power — the ability — to do what once seemed impossible. Whatever feels weak in your life right now? You have the power, through Christ, to overcome it.
That’s the kind of God we serve. That’s the kind of Jesus we follow — if we remove the unbelief.
Unbelief and belief don’t coexist in the same space. You can’t believe for something while also doubting it in your heart. That’s why many people are believing for a breakthrough but never receive it — because deep down, they don’t actually believe it’s possible.
We overcome unbelief by exchanging it for belief. Real belief. Heart-rooted, Scripture-backed, Spirit-breathed belief.
Now let me talk straight: as a leader, I’m just here to equip you. You are the ministers of God. You have so much power in you. And truth be told, legally and politically, you have more freedom to speak boldly than I do. Leaders often get muzzled — you don’t. Though I don’t take muzzling very well anyway, so I still speak up! But out there in the world, you can make more noise for Jesus without as much pushback. So why not start?
It’s time to be radical. To walk in your boldness. To carry Jesus everywhere. Start radical.
I’m in that place — and I believe we all should be. But let me say this: it's time to stop delivering only messages of discouragement. It’s time to encourage. It’s a season of rebuilding.
I hear so much negativity being prophesied — doom, judgment, fear. Listen, I’m okay hearing that kind of word once. Maybe even three times — I’m a “three-times” kind of guy. But if I hear it ten times, that’s too much. The warning was enough. I heard it. Now let’s build.
When we over-preach what’s already been won, we feed unbelief. And that’s not helping anybody. If God already gave you victory in an area, stop fighting it like you’re still losing. Stop preaching your past battles. Start living in your present victory.
It’s time to rise up. It’s time to climb. It’s time to believe.
Amen.
