Kingdom Family

Every day gets better, and I don’t have pain anymore—come on, somebody! I thank God for that. If I had been stubborn and unteachable, this breakthrough wouldn’t have happened. But I chose to be teachable. I research, I ask questions, and I dig deeper. When my chiropractor told me my pain was due to stress, I didn’t just accept it—I asked, “Where is that coming from?” And I kept searching until I found the root cause. I believe I found it, and I thank God for it.

I run after the lost. And let’s be real—some of us are lost even within the church. Some of us are running away in our hearts while we’re sitting here. But God is saying, “Stop running. Stop running. Know your worth.”

We are called to walk as a family in God. I’m just being real with you today. Are you okay with realness? Because this is where we’re going. We can’t keep reliving the past. We need to build this family, make it work, and let it flow as God intends. I’ve made a lot of mistakes, but we learn from them.

We’ve got to rise up, church! We’ve got to learn how to reach the world, how to represent Christ, so that others see the power of the Holy Spirit working through us. Amen?

Let’s go to 1 Corinthians 2:15—"But he that is spiritual discerns all things, yet he himself is discerned by no man." The King James says “judged” instead of “discerned.” He that is spiritual judges all things. That means we examine, we seek wisdom, we discern before we act. And when we do that, we are not easily judged because we aren’t taking the wrong actions. It’s only when we take wrong actions that we open ourselves up to judgment. So let’s discern wisely, amen?

I’ve learned that every time I thought I lost something, God was actually giving me something new. When you walk in the kingdom, when you walk in family, when things seem to be falling apart, you often realize that God was just shifting you into a new direction, giving you a fresh heart.

Ask yourself: Do you live in purity? Do you live in the divine identity of God’s family? That’s where true reward comes from. And it’s not just about receiving from God—it’s about receiving from each other. We are called to encourage one another, to connect, to pour into each other. You all have gifts to release in this place. Maybe you’re not preaching, but just by being here, engaged, and saying “Amen,” I am receiving something from you.

And it’s not just about divine wisdom, though that’s most important, it’s also about how we communicate. Use wisdom when you speak. Consider the person you’re talking to. Think about how to present yourself in a way that truly represents Christ. If we don’t use wisdom, we can build walls instead of bridges. And that wall might not last forever, but it might be a barrier between you and that person. So, let’s learn to use wisdom, amen?

I always tell people this: If you can’t represent Christ in wisdom, you’re missing an opportunity. I haven’t always been perfect at it, but I’ve learned that when you communicate wisely, you become a resource to others rather than a barrier. That’s what the kingdom family is about.

At the end of the day, it’s about choosing to follow the Spirit of God. Don’t just say, “I could do better.” Just do better! If you already know what needs to change, don’t just talk about it; act on it. As a leader, I hear people say, “I can do better.” But I don’t need to hear that. I need to hear, “Yes, I did it.” Even if you just read one verse a day, you’re still doing it. If you feel like you should do better, don’t sit in guilt—make the change.

I’m not here to chase after you and ask, “Did you read your Bible today? Did you pray today?” No, I assume that as mature Christians, you’re already pursuing God. But if you know you need to grow in an area, then take the step. And if you need help, don’t just sit in it—ask for it. That’s what we’re here for.

This is the kingdom family. This is how we rise up. Amen?
